DESIGNATHON 2022

Let's virtually get together to Design!

At Avocademy we believe that great UX/UI Design can change the world, so we are challenging you to solve a problem in a week. You will have the chance to win prizes while learning and being creative!

How will it work?

Choose or get assigned to a partner (groups of 2) to design a website or an app that solves a problem in one of the following themes:

  • FinTech 
  • web3 
  • Metaverse

A design prompt will be given out on May16th for each theme. 

Dates: May 16 - 22, 2022 (1 week)
Location: Virtual - Zoom
Cost: FREE

The participants will be able to attend Speakers Series throughout the week to further their design skills. 

Who can participate?

  • If you are looking to transition to the UX/UI Design field
  • If you have no experience or less than 1 year working full time in the UX field
  • If you are a College Student with an interest in UX/UI Design 
  • Any location can participate. Cash prizes only available for the US, UK and Canada residents. If you are not located in the US, UK or Canada - all team members from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place team will get the Avocademy UX/UI Foundations course for free ($4000 value / team).

 

What will I win?

Each team will be assessed by a panel of judges and the top 3 teams will win the following. Cash prizes only available for the US, UK and Canada residents.

If you are not located in the US, UK or Canada - all team members from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams will get the Avocademy UX/UI Foundations course for free ($4000 value / team).
